I'm trying out a new technique today, pouring through a sink strainer. The strainer is placed concave side down and the paint is poured inside. If all goes well, the layers of paint should gradually flow through the holes spreading out in a beautiful pattern. My first strainer pour wasn't a total success, or to put it in a better way not a total failure. The paint was too thick and didn't flow smooth and fast enough, and also I didn't mix some of the paint well enough and it was a bit muddy. There was one section on the right hand side which nearly turned out the way it should and I was quite pleased with that. Check out my video to see the whole process in creating this piece.
