Today I'm talking about the different stages which my account and myself as a person on this platform have passed through the last 14 days.
As I have spent nearly every free minute in this community I could learn already a lot but I'm sure there is still so much more to discover.

Longer waiting times for Account activation?

I've been waiting pretty much exactly 24 hours until my account was unlocked after registration. But I've also heard from some other newcomers (and my mom) that some of them have to wait three or even up to seven days. This may be because of increasing user numbers at the moment.

Discovering and improving

When I started two weeks ago I was writing articles about psychology and communication. I realized that some of the articles may have been too long and too dry in presentation so I started shorten things a little bit up.
The reason why I did this was because I caught myself clicking away other articles when they were too long but could have been interesting to me.
I guess that the majority of the users wants a compact format which isn't too much time-consuming.

DTubeDaily group

So, it was last weekend when I joined a group called DTubeDaily on their Discord channel. It's a strong community which is constantly growing and has some great Vloggers both newcomers and experienced people.
Yesterday we had our very first virtual meetup in Google Hangouts. I've already written a short summary about it today.

First time on video

Another big moment was on Monday, January 15th when I did my very first Vlog after mynndnow@mynndnow challenged me to do so.
Before I took the video, I thought that this might be a one-time thing. But I enjoyed it and the process of editing so I'm continuing.

The best out of two worlds

But this doesn't mean I'm only doing video from now on and I don't care about the topics and articles which I've been writing some days ago.
This channel is still in development and I guess it will always be. But as I was starting from literally zero and I'm learning every day also by all the other people out here. This development at least seems to me to go really fast.
What I'm now trying to do is related to this video by shaunonsite@shaunonsite who is building up his video descriptions like blogs. And I think this is brilliant! Because from now on, every one of you can enjoy the content in the way you prefer.

Are you more likely to read? Or do you enjoy looking of maybe just listening to a video? Well, from now on it's your choice!

Future plans?

I'm excited about the future of this platform and how my channel is going to evolve. Of course, I would first of all like to improve my video skills like speaking in front of the camera, gesture and so on. But also my equipment and my skills with video editing.
Another big plan for the future would be to do a meet-up with some of the people from DTubeDaily group maybe somewhere in the UK. I'm also always about to improve my English skills.

I hope you enjoyed this post. If you did, make sure to upvote, follow up and resteem. And what's most important…

…live your dream!
