Hello Hive Community,
My name is Laura and I just signed up for Hive today. I used to work in crypto social media marketing and I currently stay home with my toddler. During quarantine, I got around to writing and illustrating the children’s book I always wanted to create. After self-publishing the first one on Amazon, I decided to publish another. Soon, it became a children's book series and it has become a passion ever since. My toddler, Gabby, is the “quality assurance coordinator” for the books and we are a creative team. Our books are a travel series with a new take on the classic “this little piggy” nursery rhyme. Part of the inspiration for this book series is being stuck at home a lot and wishing to travel. I can't wait to travel again in the future and bring Gabby with me. We plan to use Hive to share photos of our books, illustrations, interesting facts about the places in our books, and other creative ideas. I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create the illustrations, so I'm happy to offer tutorials on these programs, too.
