These small mushrooms are quite delicate and very sparkly. I took a sample of some younger ones in the same area but have not positively identified them yet. Meanwhile I'm looking for more Boletes to dry and store for winter. I've found drying these choice edibles is the most flavorful way to use them. Better than fresh! But onto identifying this little one. I found a very close match but the colors were off. Any ideas from other enthusiasts?
