As we knew we had most of the journey snow, so we got snow tires. Here they are obligated to be fitted from october to april/ mei. So half year summer tires and half year winter tires.

You can’t drive on chains ⛓️ here… but you can use them when you got stuck in the snow to pull you out. Or when a hill / mountain is icy and to help you get up.
Most locals have stubs (iron spikes) in their winter tires. As they are needed most of the winter.
