Hi all,
My contribution to this #FungiFriday by @ewkaw will be a selection of mushrooms ~ The Fly Agaric I found them during my walks in the autumn season ๐๐๐
The photos are taken in forests I visited while living in The Netherlands.
The forests are located mostly in the south of the country, in the province of Limburg.
I present you my selection for today. Enjoy ๐ ๐
This little one, still growing I found hiding between the leaves. But itโs red and white colour made me notice it and I took a photo of it.
Isnโt it cute? ๐๐ฅฐ
This one is soooo bright red.
This photo does show one full example plus only a stem. Not sure what happened with the front one.
Can you find all the flies on it? Have a closer lookโฆ there are quite a few ๐ชฐ๐ชฐ๐ชฐ
๐ About the Fly Agaric mushroom:
โAmanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, is a basidiomycete of the genus Amanita. It is also a muscimol mushroom. Native throughout the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere.โ
โArguably the most iconic toadstool species.
The fly agaric is a large white-gilled, white-spotted, usually red mushroom, and is one of the most recognizable and widely encountered in popular culture.โ
It is also a poisonous mushroom, so you should not ingest it, and be careful.
This above information and much more about this specific mushroom you find: Here
Standing tall between itโs friends ๐
And with this last photo of this Fly Agaric in some sunbeams, I end my selection of these special mushrooms for this #FungiFriday.๐๐๐
Thank you so much for looking, reading and supporting me. Hope you enjoyed my find ๐๐๐๐๐ and if you liked my post, an upvote or re-blog is always welcome ๐๐ป
Any questions or comments, let me know. Always happy to help.๐
Have a great #FungiFriday all ๐๐๐ป
