My second contribution to #FungiFriday by 
The photos are taken in forests I visited while living in The Netherlands. (For now it counts as the most part of my life, to be exact 29 years of it)
The forests are located mostly in the south of the country, in the province of Limburg. It is not so built up as in “De Randstad” from the country. (The west-north part) You find many fields and forests to walk in the south.
I’m Excited to be here in this community to view, read and share with you all these hidden little treasures. 😎🍄🍄
I present you my selection for today. Enjoy 😉 🍄
We start with a fly agaric, nibbled on by a forest creature. 🐿🐀
And some more with a dark green mossy background searching the sun.
As we walk further I discovered this cluster at the base of the tree. Tightly packed together.
Next I found these mushrooms.
I imagine it is a water reservoir for secret forest creatures… maybe even elves 😉
Another one, but already empty… one does wonder….
The next mushroom; I remember… in my youth when the school class would go visit a the forest, some kids liked to jump on these big mushrooms. They go “poef” and spread all their spores… a big mist. And they laughed and had fun.
I wouldn’t do that of course, I respected nature since a very young age. Just wanted to take in, study and observe.
A few mushrooms in different sizes. The little one safe under the umbrella of it’s family.
And to end this selection a few more hidden mushrooms, but I saw them hiding.
