Hi all πŸ‘‹πŸ»

My contribution to this #FungiFriday by ewkaw@ewkaw will be another selection of a few Dutch Mushrooms ~ I found them when I lived in The Netherlands πŸ‡³πŸ‡± in the forest in the north of the country. πŸ„πŸ‚πŸ

The following photos are taken in the Sallandse Heuvelrug to be precise.
A beautiful nature reserve/ park with heathland I visited in 2014. With my canon eos 550D.

More information about this nature park you find In this website!

It states: ”The Sallandse Heuvelrug between Hellendoorn and Holten is an area with panoramic views that are not typically Dutch, across expansive and undulating heathland and sprawling forests. The landscape was formed in the distant past, by sliding ice, meltwater and drifting sand. Humans also left their traces; the earliest signs of life are from five thousand years ago. The Sallandse Heuvelrug was formed by two ice ages. More than 150,000 years ago.

The last few centuries in particular have shaped the landscape into the way it looks today. Sand drifts, caused by overgrazing of the heathland, were curbed by afforestation at the start of the last century. But even today, humans put their stamp on the area: however, nowadays the intention is to preserve the landscape and the animals and plants that are part of it.”

Let’s look at the fungi / mushrooms:

A beautiful but small fly agaric. You can see it wasn’t that old at the loose ground surrounded it.

Next one was almost buried by these autumnal leaves πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚ He looks really velvety smooth.

These ones were close by to a tree stump.

And this was interesting to see… so many close by each other. πŸ₯°

And another tree stump covered with moss and all sizes of mushrooms.

And with this last photo I end my selection of Dutch mushrooms for this #FungiFriday. This was also my last selection of mushrooms from the north of the Netherlands.
