I took this image during a Winter Solstice celebration in 2015. We walked through the Vancouver streets with lit lamps. The longest night of the year enveloped the city, and we celebrated the coming of winter with a multi-cultural extravaganza. Music, song, dance, and plenty of food from various parts of the world. The pandemic and foul weather put a damper to the festivities this year, but the light still burns bright and beautiful.
