It's been a while since I've gone hiking. So, I was a bit rusty on what precise gear I needed to venture into the great outdoors. Having read a few reviews of the area, it seemed like an easy hike with paved roads and night lights. Easy as pie. It was beside the ski village, so how difficult could it be? A part of me kept nagging me as I prepared a few items for the hike. What if the trail turns out to be more difficult than anticipated? I know that maps can be deceiving. Something that looks straightforward on a map could easily turn into an ordeal if one was not careful. So, I began to get paranoid (yes, a sasquatch did cross my mind), so I perused through my hiking gear.
Cap, compass, medical kit, tripod, whistle, tissue paper, HEADLAMP, water, snacks, lighter, digital pen to interact with phone, marker with gorilla tape around it, pencil, waterproof notebook, and my new additions consisting of camera gear (in orange bag) and chargers (in black case). The camera gear and chargers added significant weight to the backpack, but I wanted to test a few new toys for your pleasure and entertainment.
