Some places simply fire up the imagination with their romance. Spain is one such place. Timeless. Myth and legend entwined in the mists of the past. Who are these ancient people? I wonder. What are their stories? Not just historical facts about crusades, kings, and colonization, but the living breathing tales under the Iberian sky.

This kind of place seems almost magical, as if from an alternate reality with its own historical time-line. Not quite real. Capable of producing minds like Salvador Dali and Picasso.
I wandered those streets long ago, and the best I could do- the only thing I could do- was raise my phone and take a few snapshots for posterity. A picture can never do it justice, as you well know. So just let your imagination soar.
I think of Spain now. Its sun-drenched fields and its ancient mien. The mysterious faces. Fierce and proud. Beautiful and passionate. I think of Spain and softly whisper, ole ole ole.
