The local Major League Soccer team uses BC Place Stadium to play matches. Prior to joining the league, they used to play at Swangard stadium, a multi-purpose facility located in the city of Burnaby.
On a recent visit, I took this snapshot of the pitch being watered while the players practiced against a mountain backdrop. It was a hazy and partly cloudy day that created interesting variations in light.
