I raised my camera and pointed it at the sailboats sheltered on the cove. The island looked desolate save for the few scattered homes and a row of houses at the edge of the ocean (as shown in the photograph). I had never seen those before. I tried to imagine living in one of those homes. Through sun, rain, and snow. It's just so wild. How does one go about living on an island?
