Hi Hivers!
This week I had to collaborate with another incredible newbie and I come to tell you about our experience together. So without further ado, I present to you Gaius Trinity Egwe, my partner in adventure.
Before starting I must clarify that my native language is Spanish, I used a translator to make the post. So I apologize if the English version is not the most correct.
Gaius is an 18 years old guy from Delta, Nigeria 🇳🇬 who has moved to Lagos with his Christian family, which surely gives him a lot of encouragement and blessings.
He is studying law at the University of Lagos, one of the best in the country. What a crack! 🙌
But not everything is studying in Gaius' life. He also has time to have fun with his passions: chess♟️ and anime. Yes, you read that right. Gaius loves to move the pieces on the board and watch Japanese cartoons. Isn't that great? You can take a look at his blog to see some of his stories about these topics. 👉 here 👈
And if that weren't enough, he's also into blogging and affiliate marketing. This guy doesn't stop!🤯
I met Trinex (that's what Gaius is called on discord) in one of the interactive sessions of the group. After interacting, we agreed to be partners during this week.
I must say it has been a pleasure to work with him.
Part of the tasks we have to complete together during the week is to do an activity or game together🤝🏽 Can you guess what we played, right? Yes, we played a game of chess.
I'll tell you something funny, we agreed to play on the App called chess.com, we sent each other the friend request and agreed to play a ten-minute game, I haven't used the App much, so I got a little lost but anyway, I accepted the game and I won 😃. At the end I write him a private message and congratulate him, I tell him it was a good game, and he says to me:
When I check, indeed, I in my distraction did not realize that I played against another user 🤣🤣🤣, we laughed a little. But well, finally we managed to play the game, I have to say that, to my surprise I had him cornered, I almost left him without pieces 😂 and suddenly...

Gaius gave me checkmate and won the game, I really didn't see it coming 🥵
That shows that he is an intelligent person in addition to being friendly. We had fun working together 😁, I think I won a partner to keep playing chess, a passion we share and that I had forgotten a long time ago.
I have to say that Gaius is an exemplary newbie. With his commitment to his studies, his passion for justice and his activity on hive, he shows that he has a lot to contribute to the world.
I feel very lucky to have shared this week with him. I hope he continues to grow, learn and succeed on hive.

Versión en Español¿Qué tal, Hivers? Esta semana me ha tocado colaborar con otro novato increíble y vengo a contarles cómo ha sido nuestra experiencia juntos. Así que sin más preámbulos, os presento a Gaius Trinity Egwe, mi compañero de aventuras. Antes de comenzar debo aclarar que mi idioma nativo es el español, utilicé un traductor para hacer la publicación. Así que les pido disculpas si la versión en inglés no es la más correcta. Gaius es un chico de Delta, Nigeria 🇳🇬 que se ha mudado a Lagos con su familia cristiana, que seguro que le da muchos ánimos y bendiciones. Pero no todo es estudiar en la vida de Gaius. También tiene tiempo para divertirse con sus pasiones: el ajedrez♟️ y el anime. Sí, habéis leído bien. A Gaius le encanta mover las piezas sobre el tablero y ver dibujos animados japoneses. ¿No es genial? Podéis echar un vistazo a su blog para ver algunas de sus historias sobre estos temas. Yo conocí a Trinex (así se llama Gaius en discord) en una de las sesiones interactivas del grupo. Luego de interactuar acordamos ser compañeros durante esta semana.
Cuando reviso, efectivamente, yo en mi despiste no me di cuenta que jugué contra otro usuario 🤣🤣🤣, nos reímos un poco. Pero bueno, finalmente logramos jugar la partida, tengo que decir que para mi asombro lo tenía acorralado, casi lo dejo sin fichas 😂 y de repente... ‼️PUM‼️ Gaius me dió jaque mate y ganó la partida, la verdad no lo vi venir 🥵 Eso demuestra que es una persona inteligente además de simpática. Nos divertimos trabajando juntos 😁, creo gané un compañero para seguir jugando ajedrez, una pasión que compartimos y que yo hace tiempo tenía olvidada. Tengo que decir que Gaius es un novato ejemplar. Con su compromiso con sus estudios, su pasión por la justicia y su actividad en hive, demuestra que tiene mucho que aportar al mundo. Me siento muy afortunado de haber compartido esta semana con él. Espero que siga creciendo, aprendiendo y triunfando en hive. ¡Un abrazo, Gaius!
