¡Hola queridos usuarios!
Hello dear users!
"Wave of the sea, wave of the sea, take me for a walk through the immensity" - Tania from Venezuela. With this song, I could dance with my cousins. Step by step, I learned to move my body. I was twelve years old. Truly, every week these initiatives take me back to my beautiful childhood, where I spent wonderful days with my cousins. Hello and wave!
Thanks to this community and our number one motivator, we can enjoy this platform that has brought us so much joy. Between waves, I've also enjoyed wonderful days. On each excursion, I've experienced life's ups and downs, its ups and downs, all while facing the sea. I love going to the beach and setting aside an hour for our conversations. Being at sea makes me feel free; it allows me to understand the blessings God has bestowed upon me.
Reading a bit about the theme that unites us this week, I was struck by these paragraphs: "This week we invite you to be inspired by the wave. If we imagine life as the sea, perhaps we can say that life's events come and go like waves. There are also waves of different sizes, and depending on your attitude or desire to reach the crest of that wave, you will achieve success."
"Waves arrive to announce changes; as they recede, they drag things with them, and upon returning, they can be capable of taking everything in their path. For this occasion, we invite you to imagine life as waves, and to take the term as inspiration for your writing."
"Waves arrive to announce change; as they recede, they carry things with them, and upon their return, they can sweep everything away. For this occasion, we invite you to imagine life as waves, and to use this concept as inspiration for your writing."
After reading this, I felt a pang of sadness, but upon recovering, I felt proud of myself. A wave came that I expected, but it still made me lose my balance. I understood that losing your balance isn't bad; what's bad is not being able to regain it. To regain your balance is to let that wave drag you down and give up. Being able to return to our starting point is a great blessing from God. Let's remember that imbalance comes to bring order to situations. The important thing is to be aware and return without being disturbed, to return with the lesson learned, and to keep swimming without stopping.
In this vast sea called life, we need surfboards, boats, launches, yachts, but we also need to know that simply knowing how to swim isn't enough. We need a lot of faith, compassion, and friendly hands willing to help us keep going. We can move forward alone, but it's much harder.
A huge hug to all these wonderful people who accompany us each week. Sometimes all we can do is cling to that wave that feels like it's pulling us along, but it will ultimately take us to a safe and happy harbor.
