-"All men are the same." Said once, a woman in China after her boyfriend cheated on her. Bad joke, I know.

Men are a wonderful species of creation; usually this has always been said about women but really men give that special touch to the world they are the salt and the woman is the pepper.

They face the world and criticism without a drop of makeup, at least most of them. On the other hand, if we have a bad night, it won't be so noticeable because of the little tricks or tools we have at our disposal.

I have never had as a boyfriend, partner or suitor a man who is considered by others as "beautiful", handsome or athletic. There is something in me that always leads me to look with greater interest at men without exaggerated muscles. What's more, I don't even find attractive those with exaggeratedly marked musculature.

Everyone is completely free to choose and express their desires but since I was a little girl I have always been attracted to blond men, "los catires" as they are colloquially called in Venezuela. Not to say that dark men are not attractive but if we go to the physical plane blondes would be the ones that capture my attention at first sight. I guess it's because of that "polar opposites attract" since I am a brunette. I also know blond men who go crazy for a brunette so there is some truth in this attraction.

I am heterosexual and I look at men, it is my nature; I have a partner but that does not mean that my eyes will stop enjoying the manly charms and not go to the extreme of being unfaithful. There is nothing more attractive than a self-confident man who can handle a variety of topics. They don't necessarily have to be my topics of interest but we have to agree on something. Self-confident, without ever bordering on or falling into the arrogance of thinking he knows everything because that would make a woman like me easily bored.

Certainly with the passing of the years we become more demanding and the physique tends to take a back seat, however, we must not neglect ourselves for that reason.
