La crueldad, hoy espesa,

va perpetua a la espera

y soñando serpientes

que ensombrecen la esencia.

Concursa en la noche oscura

por besos y algo de estrellas,

anhelando el regreso,

ignorando ser ella.

La crueldad, algo ingrata,

se esconde y espera,

tallando nuevos sueños

en retazos de tela.

No sabe de fantasías,

tampoco quiere fallar;

nombra con fuerzas a los cielos

pensando que volverá.

Y cuando, perdidamente,

cree encontrar su delirio,

la crueldad busca anhelante

otros nombres, otros delirios.

English version:

Cruelty, today dense,

goes perpetually waiting

and dreaming of serpents

that darken the essence.

She competes in the dark night

for kisses and a bit of stars,

longing for the return,

ignoring that she is the one.

Cruelty, somewhat ungrateful,

hides and waits,

carving new dreams

from scraps of fabric.

She knows nothing of fantasies,

nor does she want to fail;

she names the heavens with strength,

thinking she will return.

And when, lost as she is,

she believes she's found her delirium,

cruelty, yearning, searches for

other names, other deliriums.
