Gumroad is an online digital shop where you can buy and sell digital courses, ebooks, blog posts, podcasts, and anything that is legal to digitally distribute. However, there is one issue with Gumroad it does not have global payment options and only works with PayPal, the issue further escalates that they do not let you submit a PayPal link you have to connect it to your PayPal account meaning if you are in the list of countries outside PayPal supported countries you have no chance to get paid even if you have a PayPal address of your friends or relatives with you.
This is quite simple to understand if you want to make money and have powerful paid marketing strategies like Facebook advertising or Google advertising then go for Amazon Kdp however if you want to generate an email list then opt for Gumroad instead as it has the better analytics tools to help you understand where the traffic is coming for so you can easily create a marketing strategy based on that data to drive more people to distribute your eBook easily.
