The dam that offers cool nature with beautiful views, is worth a visit.
Hello all my beloved friends wherever you are.
How are you today? I hope you are all fine, as well as I am fine and healthy today.
Take your time for a moment to come with me, take a small walk in the afternoon to enjoy the natural scenery in the countryside where I live.
To get rid of a little stress and fatigue from busy activities, there's nothing wrong with trying to take a step to look around you, because many of God's creations are beautiful and hidden if we don't pay close attention.
Seeing the natural atmosphere in the afternoon was an option for me to have a little fun by visiting a dam in Buket Village, Kutamakmur District, North Aceh Regency.
The water dam which was made to hold water for the village community during the dry season was named "Lhok Gajah", with an area of 23 hectares of the dam.
This dam has very clear water and very beautiful natural scenery, especially in the afternoon, so it is reported that the location of this dam will be used as a natural tourist spot for the people of Aceh, especially North Aceh.
It can even be seen that preparations have started to be made, a paved vehicle parking lot has been made and it looks like it will accommodate hundreds of vehicles, the purpose of which is so that visitors who visit this place will feel comfortable.
Looks like a small house, it is a sluice gate that functions to open water to flow to villages that need water, where this dam is able to provide water needs for the 21 surrounding villages.
If it's the rainy season and the water in this reservoir overflows, the water will automatically flow directly without having to open the main door, and this channel will be connected directly to community settlements.
Because the nature is so beautiful and the air is cool, so if you visit here you will find many villagers fishing in this dam, I even had time to approach them and talk to them more closely.
According to their narrative, in this dam there are various types of fish with various sizes, ranging from small to large, these fish are deliberately released by the villagers for public entertainment, where every village community and visitors to this place can fish here for free at no charge. a little bit.
The nature here is very fertile, it can be seen from the many large trees that are shady and still green, as a sign that the villagers take care of nature here very well.
I saw the villagers' papaya trees planted around the dam are growing very fertile, and have started to produce flowers and fruit.
The owner of the garden accompanied me to tour his garden while telling me about how to cultivate papaya and how to take good care of papaya, even the owner of the garden showed me how to cut the grass using sophisticated and modern machines.
That's all from me, and hopefully my walk for #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay can be a reference for those of you who want to go for a Wednesday walk.
May you all always be in God's protection, and we will meet again on the next Wednesday.
