Liverpool sure had a beautiful campaign last season. It will be remembered for many years to come,and the road to them winning the champioms league was no easy one. Their comeback against a Lionel Messi led Barcelona side has got to go down as one of the greatest comebacks in champions league history. They also had a beautiful season in England losing the title by the slimest of margins to Manchester City.
But what many won't remember was that on the championa league front, they had a similar fortune to what they began the season with. Last season in the champions league, they lost their game to Napoli in Naples 1-0. And they went on to win the Champions league. This season also in the Champioms league, their first match was again against Napoli in Naples, and guess what?
They lost the games but this time 2-0, and that brings the question to mind. Will they be doing a double this year since that seems to be the key😂😂😂😂.
