WELCOME TO MY BLOG
Hellooooo, hellooooo! DiyHub creators. Very happy to greet you. In my previous publication, where I made a box to participate in the flower contest, an idea came to me to finish shaping the box to make it look more striking. I made some beautiful 3D butterflies but today I want to show you the materials I used and in detail how I made them.
You can make these butterflies the size you want and with the shape you like best. I have some molds already made at home. You only need a little patience and a lot of skill to handle the blade, knife or scalpel to remove, without accidents, the shapes inside the butterfly. So if you want to know how they are made, I invite you to continue reading. Without further ado let's begin.
BIENVENIDOS A MI BLOG
¡Holaaaaaa, holaaaaa!

STEP BY STEP // PASO A PASO
STEP #1
On the red school cardboard we will mark the outline of the butterfly mold. Only the outline, since this will be to place under the one that we will do with the metallic cardboard.
We cut with the scissors below the marking line.
PASO #1
STEP #2
Now we mark the entire butterfly, outline and openings inside on the silver metallic cardboard on the back.
PASO #2
STEP #3
We cut out the outline of the butterflies with the scissors and with the blade or scalpel, we remove the marks that we drew inside the butterfly. Here we require great care, since we must prevent the cut from slipping away. In the part of the circles we will use the perforator to facilitate the work and we can finish with the scissors in the larger circles.
PASO #3
STEP #4
Now we will make the base to mold the butterfly. For this we use florist wire that is malleable. We cut two pieces depending on the size of the butterfly. Only to cover the central back part of both butterflies, both the red cardboard one and the silver one.
We glue with the silicone gun and press to make sure that it is firm and well glued. Then we cover above the wire. Once dry we can begin to shape our butterflies.
PASO #4
STEP #5
We will make the antennas with the wire we use for jewelry, we can also use pipe cleaners. We cut two 7 cm pieces of wire or this will also depend on the size you make your butterfly. My butterflies measure 13 cm x 11 cm. And with the conical pliers we make two turns to form the rings, only at one end of each wire.
Add silicone to the upper part of the butterfly's body and place the antennae, press until dry.
PASO #5
STEP #6
Finally we add enough silicone to the rest of the body of the red cardboard butterfly and place the silver one on top. Press and let dry very well.
PASO #6
PROJECT COMPLETED
This is how these beautiful butterflies are made that are so used in party decorations, school programs, children's decorations, artificial gardening, and that we believe are very difficult to do, but for me the only degree of difficulty is when making make the internal cuts because it requires a lot of precision, the rest are very easy to do. I hope you like it. See you next time.
PROYECTO FINALIZADO
