Hello Steemians! I found out about Steemit through my friends The Encrypted Couple and then through my brethren from We Are Change Colorado. I’ve been happily off social media (mostly) for a few years but I’m stoked to get on Steemit, connect with people and get the creative juices flowing.
Nowadays my 2 amazing kids keep me pretty busy. I used to be active as lyricist in the hip hop duo/band Wandering Monks, but I took a few years off from music to focus on securing my family situation. During that time I’ve been studying predatory personalities in an effort to understand what I went through with my ex-spouse, and transform the trauma into positive attributes like wisdom and resilience! I’m also a language enthusiast, and for the past several years I’ve been polishing my Portuguese at work and upping my game in Spanish as well.
