The final image of Hachiko, the loyal dog standing on the platform for 10 years until his death.
Hachiko gets lost and is brought up by Professor Ueno Eizaburo. Every morning, Hachiko and his owner walk to the station, then at 3 pm, Hachiko is back at the station waiting for the master.
A few months later, Professor Ueno stumbled while teaching at school and could not return overnight. And Hachiko was like every day, still to the station at 3 pm to pick up the professor. But that day was over 3 hours long, how many trains have passed, it was dark without seeing the professor. But Hachiko still waited and waited. He waited nearly 10 years and then died at the same platform.
I read the story of faithful dog Hachiko many years ago, today stumbled across someone sharing this photo of Hachiko, it still makes me very touched.
