From another perspective, I start looking for the slightest excuse to stay awake, and without lying down on my bed, I try to reflect on something I did or what I could do as the hours pass. When I'm busy, it seems easier to ignore sleep, but even when I'm tired, something in my mind seems to echo like a big echo saying, "Hey! Wait! There must be something we could do before going to sleep.

I don't watch much television, so I trade the option of watching a movie for a more peaceful and reflective time, sometimes with a lot of music, while other times I just need to stop and think about anything. For a while, I used to create my posts at night, and sometimes I could write two or three to publish throughout the week. I even joke with myself every time I do this, as if it were overtime that I put in at work and from home. What I do try to avoid is letting my nights become a refuge filled with stress or worries. Although I reflect on many things, what I always keep clear is my intention to meditate and not allow anything specific to affect me significantly. Obviously, at some point there are situations that, so to speak, rob me of sleep, but I always try to ensure that this does not become a constant that defines my nights. At most, I also take advantage of it to engage in catharsis, which ends up being like a mental exercise that helps me vent everything. No suelo ver mucho la televisión, así que la opción de ver una película la cambio por un tiempo más tranquilo y reflexivo, en ocasiones con mucha música mientras que en otras no necesito más que detenerme a pensar en cualquier cosa. Por un tiempo dejaba para crear mis publicaciones durante las noches y a veces podía escribir entre dos y tres para luego publicarlas durante el transcurso de la semana. Hasta bromeo conmigo mismo cada vez que hago esto como si se tratara de horas extras que aplico en mi trabajo y desde mi hogar. Lo que si trato de evitar es que mis noches se conviertan en un refugio lleno de estrés o preocupaciones. Si bien reflexiono en muchas cosas, lo que siempre mantengo claro es mi intención a meditar y no permitir que algo en específico me afecte de manera considerable. Obviamente en algún momento hay situaciones que por así decirlo me roban el sueño pero siempre trato de que todo aquello no sea una constante que defina mis noches. Cuando mucho, también lo aprovecho para hacer una catarsis que termina siendo como un ejercicio mental que me ayuda a desahogar todo. Aproximadamente después de las 11 de la noche es que empieza a soplar una leve brisa fría que se convierte en la excusa ideal para estar hasta altas horas de la noche en el patio de mi casa. Hace solo un par de días estuve sentado debajo de un gran árbol que está en el patio trasero de mi casa y si no hubiese sido por los zancudos hasta podría haber pensado en la opción de dormir allí mismo. En mi caso prefiero un clima más frío para estar afuera pero actualmente tendré que conformarme con un ambiente fresco. Lo cierto es que si alguien me preguntara "¿Por qué no estás durmiendo?", mi respuesta no tendría algo que ver con alguna película o cierta preocupación.
