[EN-ES] LIZARD

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

[ENGLISH] The chipojo lizard, the abaniquillo pardo or anolis pardo, (Anolis sagrei) is a species of lizard endemic to the islands of Cuba and the Bahamas in the Caribbean Sea, although it has also been introduced in some other places.

It has a size of 16-18 cm long, it is carmelite or brown, sometimes varying more to gray. It has a golden list on the back and the females have the head with a somewhat more orange coloration. It has poorly defined small stripes on the sides of the body and splashes of light and dark spots on the head and body.

This specimen is very abundant in our country and we can see it everywhere, especially in gardens, sometimes they go inside our houses and are totally harmless.

In this case one went into my home and I took some photos, which after editing showed their best combinations in the black and white style that's why I bring it to this community, I hope you like it and it will be to your liking.

[ESPAÑOL] La lagartija chipojo, el abaniquillo pardo o anolis pardo, (Anolis sagrei) es una especie de lagartija endémica de las islas de Cuba y Bahamas en el Mar Caribe, aunque también ha sido introducida en algunos otros lugares.

Posee un tamaño de 16-18 cm de largo, es de color carmelita o marrón, variando a veces más al gris. Tiene una lista dorada en el dorso y las hembras tienen la cabeza con una coloración algo más anaranjada. Tiene poco definidas unas listitas en los laterales del cuerpo y salpicaduras de manchas claras y oscuras en la cabeza y el cuerpo.

Este ejemplar abunda mucho en nuestro país y lo podemos ver por doquier, sobre todo en jardines, en ocasiones se adentran en el interior de nuestras casa y son totalmente inofensivos.

En este caso uno se adentro en mi hogar y le tome unas capturas, las que después de editar mostraban sus mejores combinaciones en el estilo blanco y negro por eso lo traigo a esta comunidad, espero que les guste y sea de su agrado.
