Here it is cold with the strangest cold pre-monsoon monsoon. The flower seeds are having a hard time coming up as it is too chilly and too wet. really strange weather. On the bright side, it is certainly clearing the streets of any floating corona-virus!
I loved to do gardening. In this situation, I am spending lots of time in my rooftop garden. I planted many flower seeds in my garden. There are also some vegetables and fruits in my garden.
I planted five types of roses in my garden. They also have different colors. But I loved all the colors but the red one is my favorite. We also have mango trees that we planted in our Garden. Some of these trees also have mangos. I am having a great time in my rooftop garden.
I walk up early in the morning and give some water to all my flowers and other trees. And check all my flowers and take some lovely pictures. In the afternoon, Give it a nice watering and a place in the sun. I have planted all of the bulbs and transplanted all of the Amaryllis bulbs and hope that all of this endless rain and cold doesn't harm them. This is now a habit for me.
I Planted the bulbs about 3 inches deep. The tiny black seeds are for the Cleone-I wet the soil, make it smooth on top, sprinkle the seed in rows, and press down with my hand. These seeds need both water and sunlight to sprout. When they are 2 or 3 inches high I can then transplant them. The other seeds I planted about 1/8 inch deep in rows and water.
My father planted more flowers and some vegetables in my garden. The name of that purple flower is "Nandini". It is a Sanskrit word, it's meant to bring rejoice or delight.
A few days ago I discovered all the different pepper seeds when cleaning my room-they were drying on a plate and I had put something on top of them by mistake! We also planted some peppers in our garden.
All my flowers are looking so beautiful! It generally takes 3 years to get a garden to its full potential. What a paradise on earth you will have! I want to plant some bamboo in large box containers and create a little bamboo wall to turn a corner of my garden into a very private place for nighttime fun.
This will be a Ramadan like no other in memory-no going to the mosque, no visiting friends, no having friends over at night to share dinner. This will be a time of deep reflection on what is important in life, of what are the core values of your faith, of how you can best serve God by serving those less fortunate than yourself.
But the thing is fewer people will go outside this Ramadan month. People have to understand the major impact of this pandemic virus otherwise we will suffer. Stay home fast and pray that is the only thing they need to do now.
