The other days 
With the square system of reward structure we have very big gap in rewards between the first 8% of bloggers and all the others. If we do not consider the fact that with the 80 000 registration there are only 2000 still active users on the platform and only 8% of them are exhausting daily reward pool. Hardfork was promised more than 5 months ago, but even with 5 months passed the team didn't prepare any changes in reward system, paying attention mostly to token creation and... trying to implement the ability to change passwords for those who “compomised himself” on the platform (it's russian style to have control over all the property).
Because of this square system and hardfork that never will happen some people decided to change curating system and give 50% to curators. Of course those with the most rewards do not share. And with the whale upvote auction those 8% became very involved in it since they have the best profit with additional whale upvote.
Since they are not so numerous very quickly they understood that they have enough space with 40 upvotes per day not to mess with one another and it became ungentlemanly to add a bet if somebody already tries to get 100% upvote in this round.
And... I broke this system with around 0.4 dollars putting three posts of a person (who already takes 10% of daily pool) in the same round. Very quickly he added 10 dollars for each of them to get at least 20% upvote.
And then another person created a bot who puts immediately posts of those richest to the auction and makes them to bet at the same round with one another and give the main curation reward to the whale prompting others not to vote for same posts (since curation reward after whale upvote is almost nothing).
The beauty of all these schemes show us how creative can the platform be with very different people and very different ideas and beliefs, even with the system of unfair competition it becomes more and more competitive. If those who organised the platform do not do anything society still tries to create the ways to survive.
