This is the phrase I heard while watching "Criminal minds" serial.
And it made me think about my own experience about scandals. What really happens very often is a small scandal in the queue. Nobody wants to wait and that's why usually some of us think it's not for them to stay waiting and they are trying to be the first with different tricks.
Really I can name three groups of people in a queue.
First, they just know who is ahead of them and they keep waiting.
Second, they check if everybody holds to the common rules of the line. New-comers ask about their turn and join the club.
Third, as I told are the bravest and the most disgusting – they want to be the first by all means.
I am from the second and lately - if the queue is long enough - I find myself arguing with those who want to deceive the others. It was not always like that. For a very long time and childhood, of course, I was from the first group and waited for the others to have sense of conscience and respect for others. But then I understood that if their parents failed to make them good persons then society should take care of them :)
And I am the one – society )))
