🖋️ A warm greeting to every reader and writer in this community.
Today I share with you a brief prose poem about the value of looking back and honoring every step of our path, even those that seemed invisible. I invite you to read with an open heart and share your thoughts at the end.
Sometimes we inhabit the present like someone walking blindfolded through a dense forest: we feel every step heavy, the horizon unmoving, and the path fading beneath our feet. In our rush to reach the last page, we forget that we are writing the entire book.
But pause your pen for a moment. Stop and look back.*
Observe the shadows of your first strokes, the hesitation in your early readings, the drafts you crumpled in anger, and the uncertainty that ached in your chest. Do you see them? None of those stumbles were in vain. They were not ruins; they were foundations.
Sometimes progress doesn't announce itself with thunder. It grows in silence, like ink seeping quietly into the paper's fiber. You advance in a gaze that has grown deeper, in the calm with which you embrace the chaos of an idea, and in the courage to name what once frightened you to feel.

Remember that the caterpillar does not know it is flying while inside the cocoon.
Old notebooks do not just store text; they hold the testimony of who you once were.
So honor every crooked line, because even detours teach us how to map the journey.
You have crossed oceans of doubt and today you stand on the shore you once thought unreachable. Keep writing. Your story still has golden pages left to unfold.
Because art is not a race of speed, but a refuge of patience. Every word traced in the dark, every idea that germinated in silence, and every draft you believed lost, has been sculpting a deeper sensitivity within you. Do not judge yourself by the rhythm of the tide; remember that even the smallest waves eventually shape the rock.
