This is my feedback post about the eSteem App by @good-karma.
I am going to keep this as short as possible while trying to mention everything (TL;DR at the end). Let's start.

A few words at the beginning

Here I just wanted to start out by saying THANK YOU to @good-karma and everyone involved in this project. I was using the App a lot in the past days and I really liked it.

1. Functions

Not too much to say here. You can basically do everything (if not more) you can do on the website, I dont think you forgot anything.

Commenting and Posting and Replying- works totally fine.
Reblogging- works as intended.
Upvoting- works fine aswell.
Transfers (everything related to wallet)- didnt tested yet, I am only using it with my Posting-key.

So, overall not too much to say here in my experience.

2. Navigation

The Navigation is pretty intuitive, I got used to it really fast.

Profilepage- Nothing to say here, pretty good, click on your Avatar then you get Blog, Comments, Replies, Wallet at the bottom.
Browse- I espicially like how you can browse content- click on the arrow at the top on the main page to get New, Trending, and so on... and add a tag from clicking search (by clicking on the 3 points top right)

3. Settings

Works as intended, I like that you can choose the Push-Messages you want to get (Vote, Comment, Follow, Mentions, Reblog).
And I like that you can set up a Pin-code (which I chose to use).

4. Issues

As short as possible:

Some Markdown issues.

Example: original Text just included some # for formatting (Awesome paint skills, ik ;) ):

As you can see the # are not shown as wordwrap but just as #.

I linked to another Article of mine, instead it shows a YouTube embedded Video (which leads (obviously) to an error message when clicked):

This is the article I am talking about (I dont want to advertise it, you can just see both issues right at the beginning of it.)

From time to time the App freezes. I experienced this in 2 situations:

1. When you use the App "too fast" (which means when you click for example Home-->Profile-->Back-->Settings, etc... one after the other really fast.)
2. It seems, that when you click on a push message for example from you home screen the App opens, but freezes right away.

Another thing: from time to time I get this error message:

But it appears that it does not have any influence?!

Those are all issues I experienced so far.

5. Improvement proposals (general)

Note: This is my personal opinion on more or less important improvements.

more important (imho):

• The overall performace of the App (of course I know, the App is still in development,...just wanted to mention this.)

less important:

• Maybe some graphical changes. The App does totally not look bad, but for me it just appears...somehow... "angular" (not a native engl. speaker, not shure wether this is the correct word ;) ). Maybe make the overall feeling using the App a bit more "smoother or softer".
• It would be cool if you would stack the push messages, something like: you got XXX new Votes, You got XXX new replies (Note: I personally, as a new Steemian, like to get a notification everytime someone votes or comments, but I could imagine that if you get a lot of feedback on your posts its a bit strange to wake up in the morning and have 127 new notifications... ;) )

TL;DR

Good- EVERYTHING which is not-
Possible improvements:

• performance
• freezes
• markdown issues
• (maybe but less important) appearance
• stack push messages
