My friend and I played disc golf this morning. We both scored a +9 on the course. I think we both played well, but it felt like we could have done a bit better.
When I was warming up, I found someone's disc out in the field. I texted the person and was going to drop it off by the sign at the start of the course. They encouraged me to find a hiding place for the disc, so I put it under a picnic table.
It was kind of in the open, but there was not any really good place to hide it near the start of the course. I had a bit of reservations about leaving it there since it sounded like the person would really like to have the disc back and wasn't able to get there real soon.
After we played the round, the disc was missing. I felt bad about the possibility that someone had taken the disc, but I didn't text right away.
Later on, I felt like I should say something since the person might be making a trip to the course and be disappointed about not finding the disc where I said I left it.
I contacted them again, and it turns out that they managed to get the disc during their lunch break.
I was happy that the disc got back to its owner. 馃檪
