I had a good round of disc golf today and won with a -1 score. The other scores were +2, +6, +7, and +24. I everything felt good today, and my back was not bothering me at all. My son played with us and scored a +3. I think he might have won but got a bit distracted part way through the round. He has a distance throwing advantage over the rest of us.
Hopefully, I can play as well in the tournament over the weekend.
On the first hole, we had a nature appreciation moment when a coyote wandered through the fairway.
The coyote seemed to be interested in what we were doing:
My friend threw his aproach towards the basket, and the disc landed near the coyote.
The coyote seemed to take an interest in the disc.
We all thought he would put it down after he found out it wasn't worth eating, but...
The coyote wandered off into the woods with the disc:
We were all laughing so hard about it that we didn't bother chasing after him. Maybe the disc will show back up someday with a few bite marks on it.
