I stayed home around the house today and practiced disc golf putting with my indoor basket. We were planning to play a wooded disc golf course, but it started snowing.
I watched outside the window as the snow came down and a trash truck drove up the road. He stopped near the top of the street and started to slide back down backward. All the wheels were locked up as the truck bounced along the street and sidewalk. It finally came to a stop when a trash can got stuck under a wheel. I offered to help clear the road a bit with a snowshovel, but they had called a sanding truck to come out and help. It didn't take long for the trash truck to be back on the job, and nothing got damaged.
It was snowy today:
The birds seemed to be happy. I could see their little footprint all over the snow.
We are planning to play disc golf in the morning tomorrow. I hope that it will be easy enough to find the discs in the snow. It is not very deep, but still, I have packed all my spare discs and the ones that I am not that concerned about.
