It was raining most of the morning today. I did some shopping and then headed out to the local disc golf course on my e-bike.
It was a bit windy and very wet on the course. I had fun throwing my Mantra disc that my son recovered for me yesterday. It works okay in the wind if you are careful, but it is certainly not something you want to throw into much of a headwind.
I also tried out the new Prodigy A5 disc that my son thought might be a good disc for me to try. Right now, it seems more stable than the flight numbers indicate, but it is in a softer plastic, so it might beat in and get less stable. It is a nice approach disc, but I'm not sure if I will use it much as a close distance putter. It is shaped almost identically to the soft plastic Golem putter that I have been using for inside of the circle distances and some approach throws. I like the A5 a lot so far.
