I went out to the local disc golf course this morning. I wasn't sure if the floodwaters had recided, but the road was clear, and there wasn't much water on the course. One of the holes had been underwater, and it was really muddy but playable.
I was doing a practice round with most of my stable discs out of the bag. I found a way to fix my cart so that I could carry a big variety of discs in it without an issue, so I was only carrying twenty-one discs. (As opposed to a full cart of thirty-two discs)
About halfway through the round, one of my friends saw me out on the course and wanted to play. I skipped a few holes and joined up with him.
When I played through on the second round, I was a bit more tired and ended up losing to my friend with a score of +3 to his +1.
It is always a lot of fun to meet someone out on the course and play a round. Conditions were nice without much wind or rain.
I was very happy with the way I played today, especially in the first round. I was throwing with a lot of power and hitting most of the lines I was aiming at. However, I got a bit unlucky in the second round and hit a few trees, and missed some putts.
A little bit of sunshine out on the disc golf course today:
