The three of us played disc golf today at a difficult eighteen basket course. I came in second with the scores at +16, +19, and +36.
One of my friends had a personal best score. Nobody lost any discs either. We are getting better about staying on the fairway and not having to look as much for our discs.
I was having issues with my new Hex disc and kept trying to use it when I probably should not have been throwing it. The plastic and weight of the disc are exactly the same as the disc that I lost, but I have not been able to get a clean release with this disc so far. I think it is probably just a lack of trust in it or perhaps some issue with the brand new surface. I'm going to take it out and throw it a bunch more in a practice round to see if I can break it in a bit better.
The new solar panels produced 5.4 kWh by 4 pm today. There was some sunlight, but it was cloudy a lot of the time today. I'm happy to see the system working and wondering how well it will work if the clouds are clear. Tomorrow it is supposed to be rainy, so it might be a while.

I managed to get a rare par (three throws) on this hole. The basket is down the gap to the right at around four hundred feet. There is a steep drop off to the right and some trees that tend to be an issue on the left.
