I was going to meet my friend for a round of disc golf on a difficult course, but he got stuck in traffic. I ended up playing through the course, and I saw him on hole one just as I was about to finish hole eighteen. I offered to play through with him again, so I ended up playing a couple of rounds on the course. The second round, I didn't score.
On the first round, I scored a +10. This was among the better rounds I have played on the course. I have been trying to get into the single digits on the course and feel like I will soon.
On hole seventeen in the second round, we took a break and went to look for my friends lost disc. We had covered a lot of the area earlier, so we figured it might have made it all they way down past the brambles and into the tall grass in the swampy area. This time, when I searched the grass, I spotted it almost right away. My friend was really happy to get it back.
We are both playing in the tournament this Sunday, so I know it will be very nice to have a disc that you count on back in your bag.
