I had a wonderful time playing disc golf in the tournament today. I played better than my average and ended up in third place in my division. This was good enough to get a bit of scrip for a payout. The weather was very nice with perfect temperatures and little wind.
If I can keep this up over the rest of the eight weeks, I should do well in the league. Many people don't play every week. If I stick with it, I should be able to finish well, although there is some luck involved.
Next week, we are playing a shorter layout, but it tends to be more difficult because the easy par four holes are made into difficult par three holes. I like the new tee pads that they put in, so I'm looking forward to playing next week.
I get so nervous in tournaments, and it does not help me much. There is really nothing to be so nervous about, but never the less, it takes me some time to settle in. I'm getting much better about it, though. At some point, when I get more used to tournaments, I think I will be able to play them at least as well as I do in other rounds.
