My friends and I played an easy wooded eighteen-hole disc golf course this morning. I won the round with a +1 to +3 and +20 scores.
I didn't really want to play the course because I was worried about losing a disc so close to when the disc golf league was starting. I have spare discs for many of the discs I bag, but I don't like to make last-minute changes if I can avoid it. I took a lot of my spare discs for todays round, but I ended up losing one of the discs that I bag. I threw it too hard, and it turned and went down a slope into some difficult to search area. I have another spare disc for the one that I lost, but I have never thrown it. I usually like to throw a disc for some time before using it in a tournament. I don't throw this type of midrange disc very often, so it is not that big a deal.
I might go back and look for it again in the morning. I have a lot of luck finding discs in the morning light.
Somewhere down in the slope to the right, I lost my disc:
I did find some mushrooms when I went looking for my disc:
I also found a couple of other discs that people had lost, and my friend found a disc while we were searching.
