I went out to my local eighteen-hole disc golf course planning to play a solo practice round. I wanted to try out my new disc that I got from a tournament and get more familiar with a putter I recently purchased. As I was throwing hole one, a group of folks came by and invited me to join them. I am always happy to play with other people, so I joined them.
They were really good players, and I lost the round with the scores at -3, -3, -1, and +4. I like to try to go under par on this course, but there was a little too much wind for my game. On a positive note, I was almost making some putts, lol.
One of the people I played with had taken first place in MA-1 on a recent tournament on a very difficult course. I was really impressed. It's fun to play with people who are really good players.
I didn't get a chance to throw the discs that I wanted to test out, but that was fine. I'm sure that I will get a chance some time to try them out.
