I lazed around the house, not doing a lot today. I think I needed some recovery time after the weekend tournament.
A couple of friends and I are getting up at the virtual crack of dawn to hit the disc golf course tomorrow. Hopefully, we can escape the heat, and the meth heads should still be asleep when we are playing, lol. This could be a plus or minus. We might have to par out hole one or risk hitting someone sleeping in the middle of the fairway like the last time we played the course. The best option is to start playing hole two and then finish on hole one after people wake up.
It has become unreasonably warm for around here, and there is a bright hot orbit in the sky, which has become the new normal no thanks to scorch the Earth governmental policies, lol. Everything is looking parched and dry, and it seems like I should (gasp) put some water on the yard. I refuse to water the grass, though. If it kicks the bucket, I'm going to plant some yucca or something.
A volunteer flower in the yard by the blackberries:
Some little bug loves the blackberries, as do I:
I've harvested two large gallon freezer bags of blackberries. There are a lot more on the way.

On a more serious note:
This is one of the better videos about climate issues.
