I did not do much today except a few things around the house. The shower needed some repairs, so I caulked it.
My new disc golf discs arrived in the mail, but I got them so late that I did not get a chance to try them out yet. I got a spare D4 Air disc and a Watt disc. I've been using the D4 and D3 as my main distance drivers, so it is nice to have a spare disc in case something happens.
I have been wanting to try out the Watt disc since I have been throwing the Glitch disc and liking it. The Watt disc is a max weight disc and should be more similar to my other putter discs, but fly a bit like a Glitch from my understanding. I'll try it out tomorrow and see if I like it.
A picture taken yesterday out on the difficult disc golf course that we played:
This hole is a par four with the basket up on a hill past the forest. The best play is to get all the way through the trees into the clear area. Making it out to either side will work too if you are far enough away from the trees for an unobstructed second throw.
Sometimes, it is difficult to clear the trees in one throw. The pile of logs you see between the two trees on the left is to prevent someone from pitching out into the fairway and make it out of the trees easily.
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher...
