My friend and I met with a begginer player to show him around a more difficult eighteen-hole disc golf course. We played on the easiest red tee pads. It was the second time the person we met had been playing on a major disc golf course. He was doing very well for the amount of experience that he had. Most of his throws were going straight and hitting the fairway. A few of his throws were making some good distance as well. I think he was getting very excited about the game. Usually, when people get excited about the game, they improve very quickly.
I was happy to play on the red tee pads. Usually, we play on the blue tee pads, and I struggle with putting. Today, I was getting into easy birdie range and felt a lot more confidence in my putts. I ended up winning the round with a -3 to +10 and +28 scores. It was nice to go under par on this course because on the blue tee pads, I seldom do that.
