I played a short nine-basket practice round today with mostly putters and a few nine speed drivers. I'm trying to get more experience with the slower speed discs because I don't use them as much and they fly a lot straigher than other discs so it is good to learn how to throw them far.
Doggie got kind of tired on hole six, so I turned around and left on hole seven. It is getting a bit hot for him, so I might leave him at home if I head out tomorrow.
This photo was taken yesterday when I was out practicing this hole:
This is a tough hole to play and often gives me trouble. There is a narrow approach to the basket with lots of trees and bushes on each side with an out-of-bounds area on the left that is hard to recover discs from. I might head back tomorrow and practice this hole some more. I think that a putter that does not fade too much or a faster disc that has a late turn might be best.
