I worked in the garden a lot today, clearing out more of the old dead wood from the blackberry patch. The dead wood has been building up for many years, so there is a lot to remove. Once I get things cleared out, it should be a lot easier to maintain and pick the berries.
In the afternoon, I was in a bit of pain after working in the yard, but I think it is good to be moving around. The gardening is very gentle, but you can overdo it if you start to try to get things done quickly. I've been a bit focused on trying to clear as much as I can. When the blackberries start to grow faster, it will be harder to remove the dead wood.
I might have to let things go a bit until the fall when the bushes die back again. I've made some good progress on it this year.

You can't clean inside the "sealed" door, and whatever grows inside there has found the perfect conditions for thriving. It really pretty empressive, and so far, the stuff hasn't colinized the rest of the house, so we're good, right? LOL.
