It was raining this morning but it cleared up by the time the three of us started playing a round of disc golf. The weather was nice considering that it has been rainy a lot over the last few days.
I ended up with a win with the scores at even, +8, and, +18. I wish that I had played that well in the last tournament but I was concerned about my back.
I felt so good that I played a second round but I didn't score it. I was mostly practicing and making multiple throws when I felt like it.
I got a new Fission Reactor with some scrip I won from the tournaments. It is hard not to get new discs when they have everything restocked in the Pro Shop and I have some extra scrip.
I was wanting a midrange disc that went a bit straighter. So far this disc is flying very much like the other glow Eclipse Reactor that I have been bagging. I think that once the new disc beats in a bit more it will get less stable and fly a bit straighter. They fly very similarly at this point but I have been beating in the Eclipse Reactor for a year or more. Usually Eclipse plastic is more stable than Fission plastic.
One of the holes that gives me a bit of trouble:
(I seem to find the out-of-bounds line on the second or third throw.)
Some wet mushrooms out on the disc golf course today:
