A friend and I played a couple of very fun new to me disc golf courses today. They were both eighteen-hole courses. The first course that we played had three different tee pad positions red, blue, and gold tee pad. We played the intermediate blue tee pad position.

I ended up with a win in both rounds. It was the first time I played these courses. I was impressed with how nice they were. The first one was made on an old dump site and some pipes were going into the ground around the course for underground fire extinguishing. There was also a place where they were filming a movie.

I will post a few more pictures of the courses over the next few days or so.

I ended up getting a new Glitch disc in a nearby shop. I have been wanting to try this disc out but they have been selling out fast in the local shops. They just got a shipment in when we were visiting and stocked a few of them right away when they knew I wanted one. I got a nice bright colored red one.

This new disc flies great. I have only thrown it a few times but the hand feel, plastic grip, and flight are wonderful. The flight numbers are speed 1, glide 7, turn 0, and fade 0. It flies very straight and stays on whatever angle you release it on. This lightweight 152-gram disc does glide well. I'm not sure how well it is going to work in the wind though.

Some unusual-looking hazards out on the disc golf course:
alt
Discs get stuck up on the top of these towers occasionally. Signs are warning you not to climb them. Someone does retrieve them off the top of the towers sometimes. (Maybe they ignore the signs, lol.)
