I played a nine hole disc golf round this morning. I scored a +3 which was not as good as yesterday. My finger was hurting a bit where I removed a hangnail. Sometimes little things like that can affect your grip.
Additionally I have been trying out a few small changes in my throw to see if I can get more distance. So far it is just making my drives off the tee less acurate. It is a good time to try new things now that I am not playing in a league.
The lake by my mom's house:
There was some ice on the lake but it was not thick enough to walk on. This lake used to have thick ice on it in the winter years ago.
My mom and I walked around the lake a couple of times.
It sounds like some more snow is coming this weekend and another storm is on the way by Wednesday. It might be good to start heading back home on Tuesday.
I am not sure if I should wait too much longer to start heading back. It sounds like gas prices are going to go a lot higher and I would like to be back before the spring league starts.
