Just some walking around with Doggie today. Here's a few pictures from today's walk.
Someone's yard decorations:
This reminded me of the extinction event of the dinosaurs for some reason.
The ditch was snaking around here and the mountains were in the background:
Doggie doesn't like icy slippery sidewalks. He hit a patch of ice and all three legs started flailing around like crazy.
"Doggie," I told him, "your supposed to walk slower on the ice not faster." I tried to explain the benefits of static friction but he just glared at me and avoided icy patches.
We came to a pedestrian tunnel under a road. Doggie held back and did not want to walk there because it was almost entirely blocked by frozen water.
I could see there was a little passageway on the side where it was less slippery. I went first and slowly and carefully walked through it. With a bit of coaxing I pulled Doggie along after me.
On the way back Doggie knew where the less slippery spot was and ran full speed pulling me along.
"Slow down!" I said. "Your going to topple me over on this slippery surface."
But he wasn't listening but muttered something about my hunting skills or lack there of, lol.
Doggie jokes, groan. 馃槖馃檮馃悤
