I played in the last round of the spring disc golf league and scored a +3. It was an 843 rated round. I was a bit disappointed with the score but didn't expect to play my best round. At least my rating should go back up a bit after this league.
I made a few mistakes and did not get much luck on one putt for par. It just barely missed but turned up on the basket and made a brutal roll away. I missed the come back putt and took six throws on the par four hole.
I also crushed my Mamba disc way too hard and almost put it into a lake. It turned to the right a lot more than I was expecting after throwing it in Colorado for some time. It was lucky that I got it back but I did end up taking an out of bounds point on that throw.
I might have to throw a bit more stable discs at this altitude or work on changing my release angles .
My son got me a new over stable midrange disc that I'm liking a lot. It seems like it will be nice for forehand approach throws that I want to fade right and get down to the ground fast.
